How much does a new furnace cost in the Twin Cities?
Every home is different, so a new furnace is quoted in your home after a free assessment. There are three tiers: Entry 80% AFUE, the high-efficiency 96 to 97% AFUE tier that most homes choose, and premium modulating 97 to 98% AFUE systems. The quote covers equipment and installation together, in writing, before any work starts.
What does the GE Elite Partner warranty cover?
Qualifying GE furnaces we install carry 12 years of parts coverage, 12 years of labor coverage, and a lifetime heat exchanger warranty. Most warranties cover parts only, and labor is the expensive half of any repair.
What is included in the installation price?
Sizing for your home, removal and disposal of the old furnace, the new unit with proper venting and connections, a ductwork inspection with adjustments as needed, thermostat calibration, permit and inspection, and a walkthrough of the new system before we leave.
Is a high-efficiency furnace worth it in Minnesota?
For most Twin Cities homes, yes. A 96 to 97% AFUE furnace burns noticeably less gas than an 80% unit over a Minnesota winter, and it qualifies for utility rebates in most service areas. The payback is fastest in larger homes and homes that keep the thermostat up.
Can I replace the furnace and AC at the same time?
Yes. A full system bundle, new furnace and new AC installed together, is quoted as one job. One trip, one quote, one warranty, and the two systems are sized to work together.
Do you offer financing on a new furnace?
Yes. Financing is available on equipment installations. Ask about current terms when you request your estimate.
